KTKC 2015 – Here we go!

KTKC 2015 – Here we go!

Welcome back, Kilted Army, to another year of ditching britches for an amazing cause!

For those of you new to the Kilted concept, it really is as simple and awesome as it sounds.

Strap on your kilt for the entire month of September, Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.  When someone asks you why you’re wearing it, tell them that Prostate and Testicular cancer kill almost as m,any men as breast cancer kills women.  Yet the NFL isn’t blue in September but everything turns pink in October.

Before we all get our panties in a wad (remember we’re commando under the kilt, so not really an issue) we are Kilted to Kick ALL cancers.  Cancer is stupid.  We just think that perhaps the 50% of the population that is at risk for specific cancers deserves a little more attention.

1 in 7 men will be diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in their lifetime, 1 in 36 will be killed by it.  We at KTKC aim to reduce the stigma associated with the testing for PC and increase the conversation with men who would rather not talk about it.

Get your kilt from Alt Kilt.  Get your shirt HERE, order your patches HERE and call your doctor to learn your risk factors and avoid cancer!  Your family will thank you for it!

Get Kilted! Get Checked!
